Chippewa, too, how now clinched a playoff spot. That makes 5 area teams - Loudonville, Triway, Wooster, Hillsdale, and Chippewa.

10 years ago who would've thought Triway, Hillsdale, Chippewa and Wooster are in and Waynedale, Dalton, Smithville and Orrville are out?

That is smelling salts they are smelling.

I'm not saying this team makes a deep playoff run, but only Norwayne has stayed under a 20 point deficit with them this year.....keeping picking against them.....they love the disrespect card! Chipps win this going away!
Not going away. Going backwards!
Alum01;1666191 wrote:IF you don't rattle the pipes once in awhile s@$# gets stuck to the side and eventually everything stops. Prepare for along ride home back to Ashland County, you have a nice team but come Monday start you basketball and wrestling practices with the rest of the county to get a jump start on us this year in the winter sports.
Actually it was long. Stopped at Cocci House.
Wcal observer;1666194 wrote:Hillsdale hasn't seen an offense, or the speed that they will either. Hillsdale's offense will have to score, and they have been rather weak in that area. Even if Hillsdale's defense and Chippewa's offense are a draw, the Chipps defense is further ahead than the falcons offense.
We did see an offense. Week 3.

Very well could have been had we not fumbled on our 10.

Shitty popcorn...
Spot on on both accounts!

Great game tonight on both sides. My Falcons, I think just wanted it more. We did make some bad mistakes again tonight, but the Chipps were only able to capitalize once. D did a smash up job. Chipps had like 43 yards on the ground the first half and about 69 the second.

Good luck to the Chipps in the post season.

Great game by the Falcons.... To be frank, I think the Chipps would have scored and won if they could have gotten their hands on the ball one more time with some significant time left on the clock. But the Falcons took the ball with 5 and a half minutes left and just ground the clock away. It was an impressive, great drive that secured the win.

Ball control...it happens when you have a ground game.....with proper play calling. My goodness! Bears have a ground game...But over the last 4 years.....with the "spread" Bears are somewhere near 17-31? give or take a loss/win.

LOSE THE SPREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waynedales plays...watching the signals.

NOW...wtf is going on here? A "COACH" leaves a program and joins a rival....yet can read our plays by the signals!!!!?????

Why the complaining 17-31 isn't that bad! Try setting through a 0-29 run. Thanks for getting us out of that nightmare.

JoeEitel.com says Chippewa still "Controls [their] own destiny," with their min lose-out being lower than 9 other teams' max win-out. Some were saying on here that they'd clinched.

What's the deal?

Also, it looks like Smithville will need a prayer to get in now, after VASJ beat St. Thomas-Aquinas last night (though it still would have been hard to get in, regardless of who won).

Chippewa has not clinched. They will most likely finish in the 6 slot, and get an invite to Coldwater. Coldwater should drop even with a win as they play an 0-9 team. Eastwood should jump Chippewa with a win. Thus seething up a 3/6 match with the Cavs. That game will be VERY UGLY!
Hillsdale will get loudonville, Mogadore, or Kirtland. Safe to say no WCAL teams will be playing in round 2 of the playoffs. IMO, the league was more balanced, but overall talent and dominate team lacked.
