I agree with 1_beast that the recognition is not coming from Waynedale but rather those from the outside looking in. As you can see from their profiles, and from my experience interacting with them in the past, 1486wd and beverboy1 are both Dalton guys and proud to admit it. I just think a lot of us are looking at the talent that is returning and giving those teams some recognition as a result. Would I be surprised if Norwayne won the league again? Heck no! I all honesty, the WCAL is one league where before games are played, there are probably 4-5 teams that look like they could potentially win the league.TheWizard;1637503 wrote:Oh geeze, here we go with the Waynedale and Chippewa talk...the Bears are two years removed from 0-10 and the Chipps were the laughing stock of the league at 1-29. Now after ONE good/decent season from each, it looks like each is thumping their chests. Having high expectations is nice, success needs to be consistent before the talking can be done.
Anyways, all this talk is getting me excited for the fall! I love the cracking of helmets, crisp air, dew on the grass, and Friday nights under the lights!
