So if the trade rumors regarding Love come true, what first rounder would they unload? Next year's or the ones from Miami?

I've turned it in today now as well, unfortunately it's the middle of the day on Friday so stone cold sober this time.

You're letting a lot of OU alumni down.

I think the trade is bad for the Cavs as well. I'd do Love for one of those pieces + a 1st rounder.

They won't get him then. Didn't follow the proposed trade that Golden State offered for Love but I heard it was more than what the Cavs are offering and they turned it down.

Doesn't matter what teams offer, Love has to agree to sign an extension with the team he's being traded to. If Love is willing to sign a contract extension with the Cavs only, what leverage does Minnesota have? They have none because if they don't trade him he walks for nothing in a year so you might as well get a 1st round pick and a young prospect for him(a generous offer).

I think we get Love for basically nothing in the end, even if its a mid-season trade. We can ship off Haywood's weird expiring deal, AB or Waiters, and a 1st and get Love no problem.

We do and its top 10 protected. It's also top 10 protected until 2017 where it is then unprotected.

I really doubt he's opting out again... the shorter time allows him to renegotiate for another max deal sooner - which makes sense.

The reason I said this was that I'd heard there was something coming up in 2 years (CBA or new TV deal or something) that might have him do a shorter deal so he could cash in again.

The king is back....and the chalk dust will be flying before every home game. Time to polish up the rest of the roster starting with K. Love. Waiters, Thompson, Bennett and next year's number ones.....hey Minnesota, pick 3...any 3... and we're good to go.

Love will commit to a long term deal with Cleveland. As long as were not giving up wiggins or Thompson, pull the trigger.

Kyrie
Wiggins
Lebron
Love
Varejao

Dear mercy

I'd give up Thompson for love easily. He's not loved up to his potential at all.

As long as we don't give up Irving or Wiggins I'm okay with it. No more than 2 pieces though(AB, Waiters, Thompson, 1st round pick, choose 2 of 4)
