Yeah I agree...not a fan of 1 year stop gaps. Especially for players where you'd have to give up a ton to get them.

My guess is love would be a sign and trade.

I don't want love. Always injured, empty stats. Doesn't win shit. Hell even bosh made the playoffs before hanging on lbj's jock.

An inexperienced big man with back issues already....no thanks.

Who are the big 4, S&L, just curious? I only see 3, to be honest. I see a (relatively) big drop off after Embiid, Wiggins and Parker. Though, the next 5 are all still better than last years top players lol.

I'm still going to be hopeful for wiggins. Even though I could probably be convince about someone else. I watched a Tok of Kansas games last year just because I wanted to watch wiggins. He definitely at more times where he seemed lost or just not real involved than he did times where he took over. BUT he always played defense and then every once in a while he'd get hot and when he did he looked like an all star. I think we didn't see the real wiggins because of the system at Kansas.

Exum is not a top 4 player. It's the big 3(and IMO the big 2). I want Embid.

Have you seen him play?

I have only seen clips, but from what I hear of the kid is he is every bit as good as the top players of this draft.

Your last sentence is probably true.

Self's system does not allow for a 25 a game scorer every game.

Wouldnt call it a bad pick, but I'd rather Wiggins who enjoys defense and had a "bad" year putting up pretty incredible stats as a freshman. I know he disappeared, but you could see how amazing he is going to be if he ever realizes he IS the best player on the court he will be special.

Dominated the best in the world for his age group. He is special. But you don't draft him unless you let Kyrie leave...

This is just another reason I'm sold on Wiggins. He was considered to have had a bad year, but I'd take his stats any day.

Kyrie, waiters, wiggins, and hopefully a big free agent or a couple solid pieces. That's a pretty nice nucleus that really just needs a big man

I'd kill for Love, but I want him for more than one or even two years.

Thought of this little scenario today: Would you be okay trading the #1 pick for Kevin Love if we only had him for one year and it resulted in a championship?

All star MVP! (Lol jk) no thanks. I'll keep him. Also wouldn't be trading the #1 overall pick for him. I wouldn't trade the #1 pick for anything not named lbj/Kevin durrant.

Fair enough. I think that's overvaluing the #1 pick a little bit. I'm not big on a Love trade either, though. Don't see him re-signing here.

They'll both be very good IMO. Too 3 prospects in this draft are best since kd/oden.

Why not? Neither Embid, Wiggins or Parker are even close to a Lebron or a Durant, not franchise changers.
