I know this board is located in central ohio and is mostly dominated by Ohio sports fans, but for those who live on the Eastern side like at least one pittsburgh sports team. If you guys ever want to get together and talk about Pittsburgh sports teams, I have a site for you. Www.pghsportsforum.com is a well-run site and have hundreds of dedicated Pittsburgh sports fans to talk to. We have many sports writers, bloggers, and long-time Pittsburgh natives covering the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, Panthers (college), Power (arena football), and Riverhounds (NSL, soon moving to MLS), as well as the NFL, MLB, NHL, AFL, NCAA, and MLS. Our writers and bloggers regularly put new articles up on the site and often get opportunities to sit down with Pirates, Pens, and Steelers players and executives for interviews often. We have up to the minute news, updates, and scores on all Pittsburgh sports teams as well. We are a friendly community with most of us knowing each other personally and would welcome anyone else to the PSF family. We have developed a good reputation throughout the past few years and have even broken the news on some stories/transactions etc. We are looking for posters and new bloggers to join our blogger staff at this time, so if you have a passion for sports and/or writing you have the chance!! thank you!!

We also have a pirates podcast led by one of our long time members, Rumbunter. He weekly brings in Pirates players on to the podcast and is aired on our forum.

Our in-depth analysis and previews is second to no one when it comes to sports boards! We like to put the littlest details and as much info as we can even in the least-popular sports, like the Arena Football League and the Pittsburgh Power. A preview of this can be viewed here:

No other board has sit downs with professional athletes, coaches, and executives regularly. No other board has as big of a yearly gathering as we do (Pirates game gathering with over 200 people). No other board is as well maintained as ours is. This is obsolete to us.

No other board has a weekly podcast like ours has. We are the best. If anyone here who is a pgh sports fan and wants to join a real board with real discussions come join the pittsburghsports forum
