Kansas holds on...at the end of the season it'll be a good win on paper at a neutral location but that was a brutal win in a home court environment after blowing a 20 point win.

Kansas is gonna be tough if the freshmen grow up before March. They seem a lot like last year, though. A lot of talent, but don't really have "the guy" who can just take over late in games.

As long as Arizona stays healthy this year, the Wildcats might not lose in the regular season, or until very late in the year. A few tricky games remain on their schedule, including at UDub and at Utah, both historically very good at home, as well as a trip to the Thomas & Mack Center to take on Vegas, but Arizona is far superior to all three. No trip to Pauley this year. Not that Pauley is a home game for UCLA anyway.

Kentucky was really good this afternoon against North Carolina, but Arizona looked no less impressive tonight. They just battered Michigan.

Michigan is horrendous. Anything but a 25 point win wouldve been a shock. Wouldnt be surprised to see UofM in the NIT.

That Arizona beat Michigan by a lot of points is not why I think they are great. They have looked impressive to me all season. And speaking of the NIT, it wouldn't surprise me if North Carolina ends up there, either. The Heels are certainly more talented than Michigan, and if forced to make that bet with a pistol to my head I would not do it, but UNC is not particularly imposing this year.

Basically, my opinion on Kentucky was not changed in any way based on its win over UNC today, just as yours clearly was not of Arizona after its performance against Michigan.

There are more have nots in the ACC that UNC will pile up wins against. The Big Ten isn't as strong as the ACC, but I have MUCH more faith that UNC will right the ship and not be close to the NIT. Michigan? Yikes. NJIT and EMU? UNC doesn't have any losses like that.

Although Butler got beat by a bad Tennessee team today by double figures.

Bob Huggins tears Marshall and said coach apart.

Foul trouble whole game. Only logged 13 minutes. 48 seconds in 1st half was all he played

Ohio gave it a good effort at Evansville last night, but it's hard to win when you get outscored 12-0 in overtime.

In spite of his foul trouble, Brimah was overmatched by Okafor in every sense of the word, especially physically. Even had he played 25+ minutes, I'm not sure UConn could've expected more than a basket or two out of him offensively. Against West Virginia and Texas, Brimah scored a combined 10 points in 59 minutes of action. The 40 he dropped was on Coppin State, which appears to have lost momentum after beating second-seeded South Carolina in the 1997 NCAA Tournament. The Eagles are 1-9.

No. 3 Arizona leads UTEP on the road 36 to 31 early in the second half, in what has been a pretty good game thus far. The Miners are hanging around.

Eastern Kentucky won AT Miami 72-44. That's all good for EKU, but they were less than impressive and could've lost to UK by 50 if the Cats had kept the gas pedal down.
