Many teams go on contact, unless to the pitcher, with one out. I never been a huge fan of that especially in the bigs, but that is how it is usually done. Friend of mine played in the minors and then coached in a collegiate league, and then I coach with him at a lower level and that is still how he did it becuase, well that is how they always had done it! Never was a fan of it as the thinking is maybe a bad throw, an off target throw, etc. Just never been a huge fan of it and I would put that mistake on the coaching staff instead of BH.
