4 or 5 of my neighbors did, and now my grass is looking a little scruffy. I'll probably get my first cut in Wednesday.

I'm a little hesitant to start. Once I do, it usually needs cut every 3 or 4 days.

It is too early to cut. We are expecting snow again next Wednesday.

Nope, had my priorities straight, had time to get the mower ready or the camper. Mower and mowing next weekend.

No one in my neighborhood did.
Doesnt need it either.
I did get out and put a treatment on the yard, got the mower out and made sure there was no gas in it. Worked the ground up in the garden.

I didnt know this, but last year my new mower bombed because I used "old" gas. Said the ethanol ruined it so they said to use new gas. Not sure if it was true but that is what I will do this year.

Hoping I put some good stuff down to make sure I dont get dandilions and such this spring. Been wanting to overseed and test out some but will wait until I mow. Read where you want it very short grass...short as possible.

I just planted grass seed last Wednesday before all the rain, covered with straw. Good or bad?

I'm skeptical. You didn't create an OC thread on how to plant grass.

I haven't stopped cutting. The one downside to always having nice weather. Grass always grows.

I don't have grass at the new house yet. Sod won't be here until it's dry enough out that they can drive a truck across it and it doesn't get stuck
