I personally think there may be an old school hip hop channel in 20 years but I don't think there will be an old school edm music channel. Most of the people who like EDM are more into the scene then the music. The EDM shows and festivals are filled with widespread MDMA use. There already a fight with people arguing about what EDM and what IEDM ie. intelligent EDM ( EDM with words). I see it more of a disco type faze that will be short lived and is more about the party and scene then the music.

The mainstream "EDM" thing isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Why? Because it's a cash cow. Take the Lolla lineup for example, lots of electronic acts. That wasn't the case in the past...it's only gonna get bigger.
Same thing goes for the old school and underground. It's been going since the 80s and now better than ever.
