Your schools don't play the top school in our conference. St. X has more national championships than your entire conference. If your schools played the top teams in the GCL, they would get destroyed. They would also get destroyed if they played us.

You are contradicting yourself. First you said that the MAC was the best conference. Now you are saying the GCL big school division would beat the MAC. Which is it?

We have struggled recently in winning titles, but we are trying to turn our program around. Our combine this year had over 1400 kids try out. http://www.studentsports.com/blog/2014/02/15/massillon-nike-combine-recap/ Top players from 14 states and 2 countries tried out. At least we have 9 national titles. Your conference has never won a national title.

The MAC has 0 national titles in the time span that you are referring to. The GCL has 1. 1 title is more successful than 0 titles. You sound angry and very jealous of our combine. What are your schools doing to build their programs? Or don't any good players want to transfer into those schools?

I am Massillon fan. I admit that we have not won any championships in the past 25 years. You have to reference state titles won at watered down levels because you also have no national titles in the past 25 years. The difference is that we are building a program, while you are making excuses for your lack of success. You beat some awful teams to win those titles. Many of those teams have very few kids that even play at the college level.

The MAC and the GCL are very tough leagues. I would put the GCL near the top in the entire USA for big school and I would put the MAC at the very top in small school across the USA. Although I have seen some very nasty and nationally ranked small school Florida teams.

Massillon has never lost to Elder.
Massillon is 2-3 in their last 5 with Moeller.
Massillon lost by only 7 points to St. X.
Massillon is 3-2 all tome vs St. Ed.

Why don't you all schedule Moeller, Mentor, St. Edwards, and St. Ignatius anymore? Also no one is saying that the MAC schools can hang with you all. But a MAC All Star team will beat you guys more times than not. Hell you guys got beat by Medina Highland lol.

The question should be, why has YOUR school NEVER scheduled them. Massillon had 7 starters riding the pines with injuries/illness that night we lost to highland.

That wasn't the question now was it? Why are you dodging it? Why don't you guys schedule them anymore? We've never scheduled them we've never had the numbers nor the mystique of the mighty Massillon. We still have a D2 title though. You know the one you all were supposed to be given last year? So they were sick and injured lol got it. You sound just like that clown brian1227 on yappi.

MWHS is historically one of the best programs in the USA. The GCL is one of the toughest leagues in the USA. The MAC is the best small league around by far and those teams could play with any team in Ohio on a given year. The catholic school powers in Ohio are the equivalent of the SEC to most public schools. Canton Mck will shine bright again. Being 17-5 the last couple years with a couple of playoff games is no slouch by 99% of programs. Ohio is one of the best football states in the USA and I would pay to see any of the teams mentioned in this thread.

Keep your head out of your ass....you can see better.

No school the size of Massillon has tackled the giants like we have. Name a very small d1/large d2 that has taken on Elder, Moeller, Ignatius, St. Ed, Mentor....etc. We havent had a lot of success against Moe & Iggy, but we hold the all time edge againt Mentor, St. Ed & are 5-0 all time vs Elder.

Again, while we were getting knocked around by the schools I've mentioned here, your team was playing the Rossfords of the world.

Anyway, since Massillon, Glenville, Winton Woods & Loveland have joined D2, don't counr on anymore titles, with those 4, and a few others, d2 isn't little boy ball anymore.

Akron SVSM and Y Mooney and Ursulin are all D-1 schools disguised as small schools. Divisions are kind of a farce in Ohio.
