Yeah...the undefeated season would've been special though around campus. As I walked back in the Marshall back was given a TD but overruled as he was inches short....those inches may have been the season. Crazy ass game....glad I didn't go.Pick6;1679219 wrote:Tough loss for Marshall, but it really probably doesn't mess with the bowl. Think Boise or CSU would have made it over them anyways.

Why? He's signed for 2 more years I believe. He's a very local product from Hurricane WV. I'd be shocked if he left.Pick6;1679220 wrote:Well you'll have someone else to complain about next season when they go 7-5.

Thank God Marshall was finally exposed. Committee knew what they were the whole time keeping them behind Boise and out of top 25 for as long as they did.

Multiple teams get upset every single week of the season. The committee is guessing just like the rest of us. They lost and now you don't have to worry about them playing in the Peach Bowl. Boise St is always fun to watch so it'll be a decent watch.slingshot4ever;1679228 wrote:Thank God Marshall was finally exposed. I'll just have to watch the Carmax Bowl against Northern Illinois or whatever.

Arizona fielding a punt with 1:15 left in the half inside their 15 with the sun shining in their face? Terrible special team decision.

Another fake punt for a 1st down for Arkansas. Gotta be their 3rd or 4th of the year.

Yeah....when coaches I don't care much about go to Arizona, I either don't pay attention or don't remember. Just a non-story for the most part. I didn't know Griffey was on Arizona until laley bragged a couple weeks ago.lhslep134;1679246 wrote:Seriously?
I don't know much about Arizona beyond who they have played. I don't follow coaches or recruiting unless it's local.
I was rooting for Zona but with Rich Rod I don't care much who wins now.

Horrible loss for Akron at Kent St to end any hopes of getting a bowl bid. Disappointing season after a promising start. Truth is there isn't a lot of talent or depth, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The offensive coordinator needs to go too.

I'm very surprised Stanford is taking it to UCLA. UCLA was fire hot and playing for so much. Stanford hasn't gotten over the hump all year.

I'll keep an eye on their basketball team as Kretzer is from the area.Pick6;1679251 wrote:Horrible loss for Akron at Kent St to end any hopes of getting a bowl bid. I like Kretzer. Though, I think he is a one trick pony. Pretty much just a spot up 3 point shooter that makes some nice hustle plays. He was named the MAC 6th man of the year last year. My favorite memory of him is when he shot 5/5 from 3 a his freshman year in Athens in a little homecoming to lead us to an OT win.Ironman92;1679253 wrote:I'll keep an eye on their basketball team as Kretzer is from the area.

He was familiar with the Convo as he always played his district tournament games there. My wife's 2nd cousin Blake Justice was at UA also but transferred to a D2 Georgia school and is doing very well.Pick6;1679254 wrote:I like Kretzer. Though, I think he is a one trick pony. And the worst team in the ACC Coastal beat the #1 team in the entire B1G at their place. Looks like the ACC is the best conference.vball10set;1679260 wrote:So the worst team in the B1G East beat the SEC East champs...at their place...hmmmm

That's awesome. And good for him. I see he is leading the team in scoring. He is actually playing in the same conference as another ex Akron guard, Alex Abreu (West Georgia). One had a lot more admirable exit to the program than the other. I know who i'll be pulling for.Ironman92;1679261 wrote:He was familiar with the Convo as he always played his district tournament games there. Rich Rod trusting his defense when his offense has been unstoppable?
Winner of this jump to #8 going into tomorrow's games. Whoever wins will have a better resume than Mich St

Arizona with a resume developing.
IF they beat Oregon for a 2nd time (once @ Oregon and once neutral), beats Arizona State and destroyed Utah at Utah.
Lost 17-7 at UCLA and lost 28-26 to USC.
If they beat Oregon again they are easily the top 2 loss team.
OSU loses a game
Baylor loses to K-State
Ole Miss beats Miss St
That would leave...FSU, Bama, TCU and Zona
Better than having no hope at all.
