Yeah I guess murder might not be the appropriate charge since he likely didn't set out to kill someone. Sort of like those cops who beat that homeless guy to death, they weren't intending to kill him, but they did. They got angry at him and wanted to hurt him, it just happened to kill him. That should be manslaughter. OK lets call this case involuntary manslaughter if it makes a difference. Either way I bet the ex-cop regrets his frustration getting the best of him. Only reason he shot someone was out of anger because his former cop w/ a gun "respect my authority" ego kicked in.
These types of nut-jobs shooting and sometimes killing people out of anger are showing up more and more because of CCW.
