can already deem their season a success (regardless of playoff outcomes)

IMO

Chiefs.....even though they are plenty good enough to make a playoff run, I feel their regular season was so great that a first round loss can't take the successful campaign

Cardinals 10-6 in a division with 2 of the top team in football

Panthers.....even if they lose that second round game.....great season

Eagles.....

Those the only 4 for me. Everyone else not in the playoffs can't claim success (Dolphins close) and everyone one else in needs to win at least a game IMO to be deemed a successful season, at least based on what I expected of them.

You should have posted this as a Blog at Yappi.

(kidding)

Nothing to really discuss or add unless wanting to be liberal with the term "success" then you maybe can add the Jets or dolphins.

Packers had a disappointing season...but with all the injuries, I think winning the NFC North and their playoff appearance, it has to be a success.

I never guessed that they would end up winning the division when things took the turn they did.

After starting 0-4 and looking like a team who may only win 2-3 gmes, the steelers finished strong and I Hope helps them going forward. The defense started playing better and the offense went more to rely on the arm of BR.

The cards def were a team who surpsied every1

Laurenitis is tearing the league up at LB. Cards are on the cusp of doing big things.

Browns. I think our goal is always to win at least 4 games, so we covered that.

I always thought our goal was to win ONLY 4 games and Shurmur was fired because he overachieved.

Lions, just ask classless poster how close they were to winning the Super Bowl.

Also the Detroit tigers. Have you seen that lineup? WOW!
