No one is stopping Ronaldo. He is arguably the greatest pure striker of all time. Plus, you don't have messi, the GOAT, so you lose lol.ohiobucks1;1621251 wrote:True, but I like my team against yours. Ronaldo isn't doing shit against Sir Bobby Moore and my wingbacks are going to tear up the field since you dont have wide players lol

Messi is not the GOAT in the WC. Maradona is the GOAT in the WC.
This isn't a club game. This a WC game, right?

Well, in that case, you don't have Ronaldo...who might be the GOAT. Most goals ever scored and a title...ohiobucks1;1621257 wrote:Messi is not the GOAT in the WC. Maradona is the GOAT in the WC.

Nasty leg injury for Luis Montes in friendly against Ecuador today. Watch at own risk.

I'm just surprised its only $5 million. You can't tell me that most people knew something was up when they awarded Qatar the World Cup. What a joke.

So Lampard and David Villa are headed to NYCFC apparently. Will be sure to catch any games in Columbus if that is true.

Lamps??? Wow. Villa still has some legs, but Lampard has a TON left to give in Europe, IMO.

Anyone else think the USMNT coats are badass? The jackets they wear to press conferences and the like.

A ton at 35? Doubtful he was going to get paid like he wanted to so the MLS will give money to aging stars and they know that.Laley23;1621486 wrote:Lamps??? Wow. Villa still has some legs, but Lampard has a TON left to give in Europe, IMO.

I mean he still scored 8 goals for them this year. Not exactly a bad year.Ytowngirlinfla;1621489 wrote:A ton at 35? Doubtful he was going to get paid like he wanted to so the MLS will give money to aging stars and they know that.

That's not a bad year but I'm sure he was looking to get paid and no way Jose would want to pay for an aging midfielder. He saw the writing on the wall and took a payday with NYFC.I Wear Pants;1621491 wrote:I mean he still scored 8 goals for them this year. Not exactly a bad year.

The article I read said that he's getting less at NYFC than he was at Chelsea. I think he might just want to play and he's not likely to see significant time going forward at Chelsea. Everyone keeps saying he's falling behind and I never see it in his play honestly.Ytowngirlinfla;1621492 wrote:That's not a bad year but I'm sure he was looking to get paid and no way Jose would want to pay for an aging midfielder. Yeah but Chelsea had already come out and say they weren't retaining him. I think his contract was up. I'm not sure though. There is no way he would have got paid what he was making last year in the Premier league. Plus he'd have to go play for one of the lower teams most likely in the PL unless he wanted to go somewhere else in Europe. Why not get paid and live in the US where taxes are way cheaper.I Wear Pants;1621493 wrote:The article I read said that he's getting less at NYFC than he was at Chelsea. Have looked more calm after the goal. Need to keep possession moving into the 2nd half
