He didn't necessarily make fun of you. He just made a statement regarding your mental capacity.

I don't know you well enough to agree with his statement, but I didn't see any pointing and laughing when he called you a fucking retard.

Just sayin'.

What do you mean I'm not grasping it....I just said it earlier. Fucking read

And that's it, you're using feigned racism as the platform to attack MSNBC. Pretending to be upset over this is juvenile, and the sad reality is that this has probably been talked about more on here than anywhere else.

Conservatives highlight stuff like this mainly to demonstrate the left's self-serving race baiting.
And the liberal's usually apologize when they do it. Conservatives moan on and on and on about how it's restricting their free speech.

That's because what they say is actually racist or offensive. 95% of te things conservatives say liberals find offensive. Such a ***** PC world we live in.

Lol. What?

"One of these things is not like the other" (or whatever similar phrase was used) is racist? It's insensitive I guess and perhaps not funny. But it boils down to "that child is black and everyone else in the photo is white" which is not a racist statement.

Singling someone out because of their race is probably pretty racist

Recognizing that people of different skin colors have different colors of skin is hardly racist.

Not sure what was so confusing. Liberals tend to get their panties in a bunch over the pettiest shit.

I will be honest. I haven't really read the whole thread. I only saw IWP's post on tapatalk and had that response come to me. I stand by my comment though, liberals tend to make a bigger deal over petty shit. That's why some of the shit that makes it through the news cycle actually makes it through the news cycle (see: trayvon).

No, I'll say it again because you clearly are not understanding. They are simply expecting MSNBC to hold itself to the same standard it holds others - it's not feigned racism by the standards of MSNBC, which is what you clearly can't wrap your head around..

If that's a ridiculous thing to you, it's because MSNBC is pretty ridiculous Don't know why they are even called a news organization.

No. Treating them negatively because of their race is pretty racist. Saying "Bob's the only white guy in the shop, looks sorta weird in the photo" or pointing out that the adopted child was the only black one in the picture isn't racist. The joke wasn't something that belongs on a news show but it certainly isn't racist.

Msnbc has fired two people recently based off their comments so they are doing
something about it.

I will agree they are a joke of a company.

People watch MSNBC?

1) The woman is an idiot, you can call her comments "racist", or not, but it was still stupid and had no real point other than to poke fun at the Romneys, which again will have the 17 people that watch MSNBC laughing.

2) Adoption is extremely expensive, and uniquely American. It isn't as if someone goes to Target and Wal-Mart and picks up a child. One is looking at 12-18 months domestically, and spending $50,000-$100,000. Obviously the Romneys have the money for this, but for others it is a big deal. Chinese adoptions usually take 5-7 years, and Russia is now completely off the table (thanks to our current administration, not to take this to the political board). Also, there needs to be a completely clean slate because you have to do FBI and state checks. The misdemeanor underage consumption charge years ago will come back.

3) There are very few children available. Many people have abortions, so you're typically looking at young women that are religious and are fine with parting with a child. That is rare, and when it does happen typically the birthmother is in a bad place and often uses alcohol and tobacco during the pregnancy. This is explained from the beginning.

4) Depending on the state, it can take months to finalize, and in some states (I think Georgia is the most notorious), the birthmother has weeks to change her mind and cease the finalization. Imagine having an infant for an extended period of time and forced to give him/her up.

But to the point, the woman is an absolute moron, and I'm glad she was called out on it.

Wow! The bravery of hiding behind a keyboard gives the weak a spine.

Everyday I wake up a look in the mirror I’m reminded of the day shrapnel ripped into my body, brave young guys (my guys) little over 19 years old die that day. Every day grows closer that I will lose my sight forever. As part of my never ending reminder of sacrifice, duty and patriotism for my country and the men I served with who I’m forever grateful.

It’s people like you who I fought for, guys younger than you died for and the daily hurt and pain I endure for people like you.

Every day I wake up and look in the mirror, I'm glad I don't have an eyepatch so we are sort of the same.
