Looks like Rodgers has been ruled out for Sunday's 4:25ish game.

Which means, assuming they haven't been eliminated by the 1 p.m. results (odds: very unlikely), they'll have a viable opportunity to stay alive for even longer!

And there's all the excitement I can muster. Uh..here we go!...????

Win the game and the odds of making the playoffs go up from one in a thousand, to two in a thousand? I'm still debating about tanking it and taking the better draft pick. So many needs.

I have never rooted for a draft position. I suppose enough cruddy years in a row might change but I don't see it. I want the Steelers to win the last 2 games even if the playoffs are impossible and we drop 6 or 7 spots in the draft.

I should have said debate on tanking this game. As far as Cleveland goes for game 16, they must always be destroyed by the Steelers no matter the record.

I simply hate tanking for any reason.....for a stud #1 guaranteed pick I can see it, really nothing else though.

Having the 4:25 slot we need the Bills to beat the Dolphins and the Jets to beat the Browns to have a glimmer of hope at kickoff.

I would like to at least start the game with a mathematical chance.

And if Pittsburgh did find a way to win.....KC flopping to the Colts will keep the Chiefs from playing for anything next week vs the Chargers.

All of these happenings today helped the Steelers, but helped the Chargers even more.

Blocked the punt, Clark gained possession and was down by contact, latereled the ball back, ball was loose, hood batted it and it went slightly forward. Refs called a foul on an illegal bat and gave GB the ball back with a 1st down. Tomlin tried to challenge but they wouldn't let him.

So he should have been down by contact? What couldn't be challenged?
