But the team and Braxton know the shoulder is done. He'll be able to throw, and even if it's with near the same force as before, his shoulder won't be able to accommodate the same volume. Basically, he can't be an every down starting QB. What he can be is a hell of a weapon as a hybrid that runs and maybe throws a handful of times each game. That is the current plan going forward barring word a team will take a flyer on him in the first few rounds of the draft.
Think we were on the same page when this first happened that that was a real possibility and may be best for Braxton's NFL chances, and IMO, may just be best for Ohio State next year. They have some playmakers now, but adding a dynamic player like Braxton next year would be unreal.
