Uh, when you are talking about backup QB's who have literally NO game experience, rarely any reps with first time offense, agaisnt first team defense, absolutely its going to make more of a difference for them compared to a guy who has been a 3yr starter. I am not saying Miller doesn't need to improve, he does. But it amazes me when I read some of this stuff. Some are acting like Miller is not very good. He just ran an offense that completely obliterated almost every offense record in the history of OSU football. An offense and a PLAYER who has literally carried this team and bailed this team out numerous times the past two years. Offense isn't the issue with this team, obviously. And Miller has shown he can and will improve as he has done almost every year. Miller is a proven commodety. Our backup is not, our RB is not nor is our offense line. Spring ball is a time for young guys with limited experience and reps., to get those reps. In years past, many experienced guys end up sitting most of the time with minor injuries because the coaches already know what they are going to get from them. Thus they take NO changes for serious injuries.
And as many mentioned, our WR need to get better and hopefully we have a new guy who can be a game changer in terms of spreading the defense.
