Duke apparel. Get her that every year.
New SSD drive for her computer. Yay.

Gifts for each other/family:
- TV for bedroom w/ Apple TV
- Slingbox adapter for DISH so we can watch DISH in our bedroom (she actually wanted this)
- TV for sunroom w/ Roku

I always tell her I don't want gifts, but she gets me something from the children. Birthdays are great. Ours are one day apart, so we go out to eat, and call it a day.

I get her shit year round as well (insert iPhone 3gs comment... PWN!)

Did you get your boyfriend a Lebron Jersey?

My wife and I don't buy presents for each other. We aren't jewish. We typically just buy ourselves the things we want/need throughout the year. Our plan for this year is to go out for a nice dinner and then go iceskating down on Fountain Square.

Having everything doesn't mean she wouldn't want more. If you're struggling to find a gift for a female, go drop $200 at Bath and Body Works. Problem solved. I don't many girls who wouldn't always love more lotion or candles...and the few I do, I wouldn't touch with your dick.

BS. My wife doesn't give a fuck about jewelry, clothes, and all that other typical women shit. And I sure as hell won't buy a cop out gift like Bath & Body Works. Now thats lazy. Oh, I didn't know what to get you, so have some fucking lotion.

LMFAO...if you're questioning the level of love women have for Bath and Body Works then it's no wonder you would question whether or not I'm a "big hit with the ladies".

My wife asks me what I want and she will tell me what she wants. But it's really just stuff we have talked about wanting to get for the last few months. Typically if we want something we buy it. I do plan on getting her a new chain for a necklace I bought her when we first started dating since the chain for it broke a couple weeks ago. Probably will get her a Seahawks jersey since she is a fan. Might get her a gift card to a tanning place as well.

Honestly its not a terrible idea if you don't have any ideas and want to seem like a cheap ass. Women do love that store.

GTFO. Because your 'woman' might like it doesn't mean all women like it.

I love the cop out of "we buy each other stuff throughout the year so we don't do any Xmas presents."

I don't have any fucking money and I still buy my gf shit throughout the year and a Xmas present.

It's not about money, it's the thought that counts with Xmas presents.

Elaborate on "its the thought that counts". I've heard this many times and really think this is just plain bullshit. If its "the thought" that counts, why not just tell your gf you thought about buying her a set of earrings but didn't have the money.

It's actually not a cop out. We choose to make Christmas about the Family more so than us. I have a sister that's been on short term disability for a while due to her having mini strokes. She has a husband and 10 year old daughter and could use our help. I'd rather make sure they are taken care of than to buy meaningless shit for each other for Christmas. The Wife feels the same way. I want to make sure my Sister's family isn't sitting in a cold house and that my Neice has a nice array of presents. The Wife would rather We donate money to the Local Animal Shelter, where we got our dog, than to drop that money on soaps and lotions for her. (Which is what we do)

I'm saying that I buy my gf a Xmas present because that's what you do when you have a s.o.

I dont care about the money. I like that she is happy when I give her a present so I do it.
That and I follow social norms lol
