Arrival. 8/10. Really enjoyed it, but you do have to suspend reality in a sense for parts.

I am biased because I have been in love with him since like 2005, but he is one of the best.

I watched Dr. Strange a week or so ago. Solid 8/10, between this one and the first Iron Man with respect to single background story Marvel flicks.

Brave - 6.5/10. Liked it, didn't love it.

Office Christmas Party - 6.5/10. I am using Superbad as a perfect 10 here. It had some very funny moments, but I was expecting a few more laughs.

Fantastic beasts and where to find them.

7/10. It was entertaining but not the greatest movie I've ever seen. I think the main issue I had with it was I did not love any of the main characters.

I couldn't stand the lead female.

Finally watched Batman vs Superman. Great movie, looking forward to watching it again. By far one of the best superhero movies. Thought provoking and not just mindless enjoyment.

Watched Willy Wonka with my 10 year old daughter this weekend. It was her first time seeing it. Of course I've seen it a zillion times, but it's been many uears since the the last time. It has held up very well and is still a wonderful story. I love it as much as ever. RIP Gene Wilder. NO ONE could have played that role anywhere near as well as him.

Also, in case any of you were wondering, Grandpa Joe is absolutely the rat bastard some say he is. It speaks to Charlie's strength of character that he wasn't drawn into Joe's sick web of lying, mysogyny, addiction, perversion, emotional and physical abuse, theft, espionage, violence, sexual assault, greed, selfishness, etc. He is the evil one....

I was wondering if you expressed these thoughts to your daughter while watching.

Would you go above my score and give it a 7.75 or even close to the 8?

Like a nerd, we went to the 5pm showing saturday to see it again and then watched A New Hope right after. It flowed into that one perfectly! I know they had to do a reshoot of like 40% was the rumor months and months ago. I think it was a fantastic job.

Rogue One, 8/10.

Slow start, but as others said the last 45 minutes were great.
I loved the ending except one thing. The whole CGI thing at the end was cheesy to me. It wasn't needed. We all knew what happens next.
