Thank you.

maybe the fact that they missed like 3 games a piece had something to do with it. I think Hyde would have gotten the invite if he was injured and missed 3 rather than being suspended.

If they would've featured him in the 4th against MSU, he would've been in the Heisman discussion easily.

Again, too many missed games by both that ended up hurting their numbers. Thats the reality of it.

Hyde is still deserving of an invite, even tho he missed 3 games. his numbers were still good. If you don't want to 'invite' him due to the suspension, then why are you inviting Winston? Pretty much the same thing, no? Both were found to be 'innocent' of their alleged crimes.

And if you don't want to invite Hyde because of the 'suspension', then invite Miller. His numbers were just as good, and his 'missed time' was due to injury; not suspension.

Their numbers were still solid, and they led one of the premiere teams in the country. Now, if you want to argue they should have beat MSU if they wanted an invite, now that's a different discussion.

Bottom line, Winston didn't miss games. He has the numbers. The other 2 missed games, don't have the numbers. Hyde is arguable for numbers, but even then there are others you could argue for too.

I don't see why he would go pro. He is clearly not ready to be an NFL QB.

Solid numbers don't get you an invite to the Heisman. Especially when people think you have played no one on your schedule. When was last time someone got an invite to the Heisman after missing 3 games? Its too much to overcome. Hyde woulda been there IMO if he hadn't missed. Miller maybe.

He's not going to be an NFL QB. At least not a good one. **See Troy Smith**

Not sure why you are comparing him to Smith. At this stage of their careers, Miller is much better all around player. But you obviously know more thant he scouts do. See above article.

Interesting read. Little distrubing to be honest. But as that last scout said, he needs another year and if he comes out now, would probably be a 3/4 round selection. But I can also understand his concern about getting injured with a young inexperienced offensive line next year.

I could see it going either way. I do think he would benefit from another year and the list of QB's for this draft is going to be very long. It only takes one team to love him, but it is a big risk to get drafted late and never really get a chance and you are out of the league before you know what happened.
