Strike Back on Cinemax is very good - Homeland meets 24 kinda thing.

I need to download that half of the 3rd season so I can catch up. I'm really impressed with the writing and the acting in this show.

Emma Roberts is the only reason I like this season. Seems kinda blah. I haven't watched the last episode yet.

I gave the wife these three options: Dexter, Shameless, Justified. She chose Shameless.

I really enjoyed the first season or two of Suits....but it's progressively fallen off pretty significantly. But they have some stellar eye candy on that show:

Read this thread last night, so started weeds. Does it get better? Watched first 2 episodes and it was really slow. Had some funny parts and seems interesting, just slow.

Near the 2nd season of the show Treme.
Awesome show from the creator of the Wire about New Orleans after Katrina.
If you like the Wire, New Orleans, and jazz music, then you all might like this.

Great so far. Makes me love New Orleans more and more.

Next up on the list is Justified.

Started watching UK version of Shameless. Derp.

Entertaining, but we're not watching 128 eps. Showtime version not on netflix.

Actually...it is ok for about 2 seasons....it gets worse towards the end. The last season is dreadful

Dont you need more then 1 season to be binge-able???

I dont think so. I mean, I watched it because it was better then what was on TV at the time. But in your case, watching after the fact, Id probably skip knowing what I know. It gets a little faster paced, but at that point it actually losses quality. It is still better than most TV shows not on premium networks though.

Eh House of Cards I think lacks the depth you see in The West Wing. That feels far more political than HOC, which is basically everyone being as corrupt as possible

The Following and The Killing are both very good. I also really enjoyed The Fall, but there are only five episodes so you can't really binge.

I was mildly interested in season 1 of The Killing. It moved slow, but kept enough of my interest to see who actually did it.

Then in the season finale they did a cliffhanger for the next season and that pissed me off and didnt watch it in season 2.
Tried some in 3 but felt out of the loop.

If no one said it..>The Shield is amazing and would be a great binge show to watch.

The killing committed suicide with its season 1 ending. I know so many people who watched all of season 1 and then just quit on season 2 because it was so slow and they drew it out. Just needed to have 1 season be 1 murder case. That is what I wanted.

I was pissed after season 1, but I stuck it out for season 2 to tie up loose ends. Season 3 was good.

I've said it twice already - best show ever IMO. The only show I would routinely watch the encore showing immediately after the new episode and it was just as awesome the second time.

Also one of the better endings to a series...but every show and season was very good. One of these days I may get around to watching it again.

I agree that they could have solved it at the end of season one. That said, I still really enjoyed seasons two and three. It probably also helps that I just watched it recently on Netflix, so the cliffhanger wasn't a year long like it would have been had I watched it when it was first airing.

I am very glad that Netflix ordered a six-episode final season. It will be nice for them to wrap it up how they want to.

Figured someone would say it but didnt read every post. Was a very bad ass show, and it paved the way for all the great dramas on cable tv today. It basically showed that a series made for cable tv could work.

I watched the Shield a few times. What pissed me off about the show was just how bad the product placement was. You would hear lines likes " let's go jump in our ford f350" or " we better take the ford f350 back to the office".it totally ruined the show for me.

Since we failed on Shameless, we're 4 eps. deep into Dexter. Like it.

"Binge" watched the TED Talks series on Netflix over the weekend.

Worth the watch, I immediately felt smarter.
