I really like 'Motive' on Wednesday nights (ABC? I think). The blonde chick has gotten really rough looking, though. Kind of reminds me of an older looking Beadle. 'Murder in the First' on TNT is good, too.
'The Last Ship' has promise and could get really good.

Just saw that 'Banshee' isn't coming back until January :(

Agreed. I think it could be really good for the typical 20 or so episodes in a season. But then I think it could be a challenge to remain fresh and compelling when you consider the premise. It will get old just wandering the seas on a ship, and if it becomes another bleh survival drama [just on a ship] that could be difficult to pull off. On the other hand, their tech and ability to travel the globe opens up a lot of potential "similar" shows don't really have.

Some people probably don't like the way Falling Skies kind of "reboots" and jumps ahead to have little continuity with previous seasons. I actually think it kind of works for them, otherwise you end-up with a dull and meandering human interest piece masquerading as sci-fi.

Anyone watch The Leftovers? Kept me interested, but after watching the previews for rest of the season, not so sure.

I saw the trailer a couple months ago. I thought it looked interesting, so I read the book. It sucked. I have the pilot downloaded and will give it a shot, but I don't have high hopes.

I thought the 1st Episode was really good. Its a pretty heavy and intense show.

In typical Lindelof fashion though...I doubt we find out what happens. Certainly not in season 1, imo...which will lose viewers.

In the book we never find out what happens. It was a book about the people that lost loved ones and how it effected their lives. Boring horseshit.

Yeah, thats exactly what I am worried about here. Im hoping they realize people get pissed off without knowing. Flash Forward was short lived because of it and LOST, while never losing ratings, had fans pissed off all the time. Both Lindelof shows.

EDIT: I think it was actually JJ Abrams who did FlashForward. But the point remains.

I just watched it. It was meh. Rather than being pissed off at the end of the season, I'm done watching. I already know we won't find out where they went or what happened. I don't want to waste time watching them cope and move on.

Heard good things about this show. Most cable seasons though are like 12-14 eps and not like the networks of 20 plus.

May check that out on DVD later.

Season 2 is much slower and darker with the plot line. We're 10 episodes in and we still like it but it is definitely not as funny...

Don't get too attached to Halt and Catch Fire. Ratings are atrocious.

Yeah, I saw that. I like it, but won't be too upset if it gets pulled.

Finished Season 1 of Ray Donovan before this weekend S2 premier. Pretty good show with fast pace. Jon Voight kills it as does James Woods.

Halt and Catch Fire isn't bad but I won't be disappointed if it gets canceled.

I'm about 25 mins into FX's new show Tyrant and I'm not that impressed so far.
