That is why I think it is a severly reduced sentence from the 1 year he could get. No way the NFL drags it out this long to fuck the browns that bad.

or the league could be sending a message with his appeal and fucking the browns in the process. This screws the Browns for next year as well because they took so long. Gordon can't go to camp next year.

Not necessarily. He is being permitted to apply for reinstatement after the 2014 season ends.

As someone who's been on the "Roger GODell is a piece of shit" wagon for a few years, all I can say is that I hope someone just fucking blasts him for taking forever to make a decision. It basically just comes off as a power play, like "If I pass judgment on you and you try to fight it, I'll both fuck you and your team over because I fucking can!"

That being said, the players fucked themselves to end the last lockout, as they basically dropped all of the issues they had with the Commissioner having too much power out of desperation to make a deal

Adam Schefter was just rubbing it in that not only was Rice only given 2 games, but he will be back in time for week 3 when the Ravens face the Browns who have to play the whole year without Gordon.
