To me it would be like leaving a 1 loss Big 10 team out of the title game in favor of an undefeated MAC Conference champion. Buckeye fans would be enraged about such a miscarriage of justice.

Leaving a 1 loss SEC team out is the equivalent to that in 2013, and everyone should be outraged.
That you actually typed that comparison says all that needs to be said about your knowledge of football. It's low-level trolling.

Too many people on this board are living in the 70's still, and either can't or won't accept what the Big 10 has become.

Get with the times already and join the 21st century.

Hint: people with screen names touting their high schools are high school students or pedophiles.

What year do you graduate?

FSU's closest margin of victory is 14.

End of story.
Kind of sounds like 10 years ago when OSU beat the U.

I started the screen name in 2001. I guess 19 year old me was a pedophile for having a screen name started about 18 year old me.

Chatanooga really took it to bama. Chatonnoga showed just how flawed Bama was and Auburn exposed that flaw. The SEC is good, but no better than the ACC.

Maybe they shouldn't have lost to a 3 loss team.

Also, Auburn's out of conference schedule:

Washington State
Arkansas State
Western Carolina
Florida Atlantic

A combined 21-27.

Not saying OSU's is better or stronger, but to say "that kind of scheduling" is just fucking hypocritical.

You don't schedule your conference. You don't get to pick and choose who in the conference you play. You play the conference opponents put in front of you. OSU beat ALL 8 that they had on their schedule; Auburn, Missouri and everyone else(sans FSU and NIU) did not.

And yes, OSU's ooc opponents record is 19-29. So you know, it's SOOOOOOOOOOOO much worse.

Sounds like a race to the bottom if you ask me.

Load up on as many cupcakes as possible and play in a weak conference, that insulates you I guess from ever having to worry about losing.

Is that what we want College Football to be?

How do you figure?

FSU and OSU have the 2 worst schedules by alot in the top 5.

They play in the worst conferences of any teams in the top 5.

What exactly am I missing that makes the argument ridiculous.

I am seeing a pair of teams from bad conferences that load up on patsies and plow through a bad conference. Then they argue that "we play in power conferences" we must play for the title.

FSU at least tried to schedule some decent OOC opponents, where as the Buckeyes were a little more transparent in what they were trying to do.

Out of conference games are scheduled how far out? Do you think OSU knew cal would suck? If you don't have something to bitch and moan about....you wouldn't know what to do

When exactly have they ever been good?

That totally wreaks of "hey, let's schedule a PAC 10 team, but make sure it is one that is consistently fraudulent".

Notice they weren't trying to schedule an Oregon or USC kind of team that is historically pretty good year in and out.

No, they choose the Cals/Washington's of the world that are a once every 10 years or so kind of good team.

It is very transparent.
