I try a lot of things.

I refuse to eat any organs though. I just think there are some things that shouldn't be eaten...I'll stay away from them.

Sometimes the psychological part makes me not eat things even tho the taste is actually good...as in the case of veal, rabbit, deer, and to some extent duck and lamb althogh I do eat them sometimes

It's possible I'd actually like it, but will never give it a shot since I've hated almost all seafood I've tried.

If you put other stuff in front of me I'd probably try it.
I can honestly say I've never had sushi that had any seafood taste to it. And there are veggie only varieties you could do it that bothered you.

Peanut butter is the only thing I can think of that I don't like. Even the smell of it makes me queasy.

I am a picky eater, and it's not something I am proud of by any means. I have gotten a lot better over the years, but there are still things I won't try. I am also guilty of smelling things before I eat or drink them. Can't help it.

One problem I have is that if I have something and it is really really good for example Soft Shell Crab that creates the high standard for Soft shelled Crab and I will hesitate trying someone else Soft Shelled Crab again or someplace else because it may be disappointing.

All in all I will try and attempt to eat many different and strange foods, even if it was very good I something will not try it again. Mountain Oyster for example tried them they where good but no need to order those again… been there done that mentality.

Mantooth brought a jar of pickled deer meat down to the tailgate this weekend. Did not try.

Had my first oyster roast last week. Had done the "on the half shell" and "fried" before but this was new. If you get a chance, definitely try it.

I'm not picky at all and will try anything once. Love trying different things whenever I go eat somewhere. My girlfriend is the complete opposite. Every time we go eat Italian it's always fettuccine alfredo and never anything different, I don't get it.

I will try basically anything at least once. Led me to a love of foie gras, calves liver, head cheese and sweetbreads, in addition to sushi/sashimi.

I try any vegetable or fruit. I'll try any animal muscle, not interested in organ, feet, or head.

Head cheese gets a bad rap just for the name. Most people don't know what it actually is. It's best if made with the cheek meat of a hog.

If we weren't meant to eat them, they shouldn't be so damn delicious.

Love Indian food. There should be more of it in the States, surprised really that it's not nearly as ubiquitous as say, fast Chinese food in food courts.

Yeah. Two of my college friends (one being Indian) had a traditional Indian marriage when they got hitched with a lot of authentic cuisine. Great stuff and a great example of why you should try new stuff. Most of it looked horribly unappetizing, but it tasted great, was really spicy and surprisingly filling for looking like brown paste.

The worst is when someone says they don't like something, yet they have never tried it. What say you? Do you like to try new things or do you just stick to your staples.
If I see someone else eating something I will try it. There are few things on this planet that I have hated, some I like better than others.
