I'd like the 60" Vizio at Walmart for $688, but not standing in line for more than an hour, so I'll wait until the price drops in a few months.

That's what I paid for my 47" Vizio in Jan 2012.

Same here. Don't think I need a 60" though.

Really would only use the Netflix and Amazon instant video.

You're still better off using a connected device instead of getting a smart tv.

Fanatics is probably going to be your best bet.

Especially if you plan on using an external stereo for your sound. Nothing worse than streaming an HD movie and having to listen to it on the tv speakers.

SAMs has a killer deal for a 50 Samsung led for 668. Thinking about picking one up for the garage. The sale is for VIP this Sunday.

The best time to buy a TV is mid to late January / first week of February...right before the Superbowl. TV's are notoriously the cheapest of the year then.

Heard on the radio this morning that the dumbasses already had tents with generators, heaters, etc set up in front of Best Buy in Canton.

We tried the Black Friday thing once. Turned around and went back home and that was 10 years ago. No thanks....I'll shop online.

Yeah this is pretty common people start setting up 7-10 days before black friday pretty much everywhere.

The guy on the radio said they have a 10 person "rotation" that sleeps there to keep their spot. Crazy just to save a few bucks. Thrill of the chase, I guess?

Lol I guess so. I'm with you though I couldn't imagine doing it. I waited in line once with the wife and it was just terrible and it was at Kohls not Best Buy. Although I did get to watch a dude punch another dude right it the face it was awesome. We had been waiting in line for like 2 hours(in the cold) when the store opened at midnight a shit ton of people came from their cars in the parking lot to cut in front of pretty much everyone. This guy in a old celtics jacket just lays out some dude trying to cut in front of him.

Don't some of these places have a "lottery" system or something like that? It would suck to camp out and then be denied a ticket or something.

I know for best buy they give you a ticket. I don't know of anywhere else though. My black friday shopping experiences were that Kohl's story and Walmart to try and get $1 DvDs when I was in college so obviously not a lot.
