It's that time of year again. My mother-in-law has started bugging us to get her our lists. What are you asking for this year? I've got a few gardening/homesteading books, a raspberry pi (tiny $35 computer) or two, ammo, and a few gift cards on my list.

My mom is getting me an automatic car starter, but other than that I really don't have a list.

I want this for the bathroom at my new house, but I will probably end up buying it myself.

I have a tendency to just buy everything I want and have nothing to ask for.

I'd rather just have cash so I can start paying off the mattress and tires I bought this past month.

automatic car starters are the best in the winter.

I'll ask for mostly gift cards.

I ask for gift cards every year, but my family refuses to give gift cards as gifts. I usually end up with camping supplies, which I can never have enough of. I have a whole pile of random Christmas gifts in my spare bedroom that I have never used.

I always ask for cleveland sports/beer shirts/sweatshirts. Usually don't get those. Almost always end up with a shit ton of books, magazine subscriptions, or sports tickets. 2 out of those 3 are pretty much what that person/persons like so it's what I get despite what I ask for.

I would love an iPad mini I can use on rounds at the hospital. Can't think of anything else I need, except maybe some new brown dress shoes.

Bringing this back.
I'm asking for an ION Portable speaker, a new slow-pitch softball bat, and a jacket(I told my mom it could either be a carhart or a nice leather jacket). She's been trying to buy me a jacket for nearly a decade, but I've never needed/wanted one.

I'd like a new vacuum or a washer/dryer.

It's always hard to find something to ask for.
The speaker is for when I'm coaching practice or at a softball game/tournament.
The bat is unnecessary, but I'd buy it myself if not for this.
The jacket is because I now want a real jacket(hoodie guy my entire life).

I never need anything technology-wise. I have a brand new phone, HP entertainment PC, school-issued ipad and macbook Air. HD TV(even though I asked for a 60+" but no one is willing to buy it for me ha).

I never need clothes. I wear the same shit all the time.
i have all the shoes I'll ever need.

Like most of you, if I want/need something, I go buy it.

Tend to get more money than anything else, so I can do the purchasing of goods myself.

Planning to probably get a 3DS, I think. Leaning towards the more expensive XL version, but if there are good deals on the regular to where the price difference is more than the current $30 or so, I'll go that way. After messing with GTA V at a friend's house over the weekend, that game's moved into the "must buy" category.

Other than that, meh, whatever... I'm kind of in the same situation that dlazz is in. When I want something, I tend to buy it, so I guess as far as the holiday season goes, I don't overly care about making lists and stuff like that. Overall, I'd rather just handle what I want on my time and, as far as other people are concerned, focus more on hanging out with them than making it about gifts.
