We've tried a bunch of different things in the past and nothing has brought in an influx of new members that some people think are just waiting to jump in and talk. Because no one (other than full-fledged politards) likes that guy who always is looking for ways to shoehorn his political views into every damn topic of conversation regardless of how forced it is.

So it all turns into "person with annoying posting habit complaining about others with annoying posting habit".
