Can't believe they pulled it off. Huge huge win.

I almost turned this game off at half time. Glad they pulled it out! That win was very much needed.

I get the jab but the comedic timing is all wrong.

Nice run to finish the half cut it to 1 but pretty poor effort overall in that half. Need to get others to step up and score with Russell being doubled a lot.

Kid is just a stud. I don't think there is a better player in the country. He is the total package.

Russell was exceptional, but, obviously, he needs some help on the offensive end. Loving needs to be the pre-suspension player that was an offensive force.Thad needs to figure out how to get him going.

Thompson's defense last night was great. Newbill scored 17 points but he needed 15 shots to do that. That is great job and on great scorer on senior night. It is clear that Scott makes Russell's offense come easier. When Scott is out the game the pressure on Russell is intense. I hope Lee gets back soon because Amir and McDonald aren't bringing much to the table.

Last nite, and at other times, yes. That is when Scott is playing well. Which he doesn't play well often IMO. There have been many times that the OSU offense is better when Russell is at the pt and Scott is on the bench. More times than not honestly. I have never really been a fan of Scott. But thought he would have a solid senior year with Craft gone. And he really hasn't. (although none of the seniors have). But yes, when Scott plays well, just as when Loving plays well (not lately!), it opens things up for Russell. No question.
But that has been the issue with this team all year. Having someone else besides Russell play consistantly. You never know who is going to show up besides Russell. Tate has been good and fairly consistant. But thats on the interior. Having someone else show up (as you pointed out, Loving is needed!) on the perimeter is what this team needs to have any kind of run in them.

From radio last nite, it sounds as though Lee is close to being ready. I believe he warmed up last nite.

Wisconsin is easily the best team osu saw all year. Yet I still don't think they'll be in the final 4. Bo Ryan teams with expectations have bailed out of the ncaas. When they don't have as much expected they've made runs.

Still they're really tough with their size.

Not really. This same team was a #2 last year and got all the way to the Final Four. Were a miracle 3 and missed bank shot away from playing for a title. Sure, they have a history of underachieving, there isn't a better precedent than this same team exceeding expectations last year.

OSU doesn't even deserve to be in anything but the NIT.

Combination of them being that good, and OSU being that poor yesterday. Which equals what we saw. But this Wisconsin team is well oiled. They are impressive. Only team I have seen that equals/better is UK.

Not the Duke team that beat them in Madison?
