Another great showing by the seniors...not! Absolute no shows. Scott horrid, Thompson nowhere to be seen. Amir was the best of the three and that isn't saying much! Bench all three IMO and OSU would be better. I'd rather go down with the younger guys than watch these three anymore..especially Scott.

I'd be upset but I'm still remembering JT Barrett putting daggers in the heart of Sparty nation in November.

What!!! Scott played his best league game this year and Thompson was better than OK. Amir is frustrating, but he was OK. The story of this game was free throw shooting and Valentine having a hot hand. Russell was due fro a bad shooting day and it happened today. Good effort, bad result.

Made the comment at halftime. ;) At that time, all 3 were bad. Scott played well in the second half. But contributed to the halftime deficit. And MSU shot poor from FT line as well. And even though Scott played well in second half, no one else was able to step up. Its always on one guy, mainly Russell. Against good times, you need more than one guy to step up and put the all in the basket.

Games are 40 minutes long and Scott, Thompson, and Williams gave more than they have been giving as a group. OSU can control their free throw shooting results and 39% is not going to get it done in most games. MSU's free throw shooting woes have cost them games in the past.OSU did not take advantage by knocking their free throws down.

Pathetic first half from OSU. Zero effort on D and rebounding.

Amir playing big so far in the 2nd half....feels weird to say that. Still can't convert around the rim

Objectively, OSU should be majorly on the bubble with a loss here. They have beaten nobody, their conference doesn't help them and their overall SOS isn't even going to be in the top 90.

Same ole same ole. I again put this on the seniors. All no shows again today in a road game and didn't show enough leadership to prepare this team. They don't compete, dig deep hole, then come back. Frustrating team to watch. Certainly capable. But you can't start games the way they do so often. Mentally weak.

That's why you can't get down 15+ early. It takes a lot out of you and requires a lot of momentum to stay with you the rest of the way to win.

That was the single worst replay review of all time and is impossible to top. Just unfathomable how they could fuck that up.

They have a couple decent wins, Maryland and IU. No, nothing great obviously. This is first bad loss. Not on bubble...yet IMO. But certainly could be. No way "majorly" at this point though. They have 3 of last 4 games at home and the road game is against PSU. They should win 3 (who knows) and the Wisky game is last home game. And OSU plays well at home. I am not too worried about not getting into the NCAA. But yes, its not out of the question as you never know what you are going to get from this team.

First bad loss? Iowa twice?

I guess what topped it for me (or caused the ridiculous delay) was with about 10 min left I told my wife I was going to treadmill until this game was over. I barely had a mile in with 1:00 left and by the time the clusterfuck was over I walked another mile.

This team blows, pisses me off watching them.

I'm just glad we have a solid class coming in. Russell will be a goner though, which sucks.

This SR class has been a colossal bust.
