I think I may be the only person in the world excited to see what Shannon Scott can do running the point full time next year, lol.

I think the resent or dislike for him comes from him being shoved down everyones throat during every single OSU broadcast. It was like what they did with Krenzel talking about his major and how hes smart(only 10x more). Hes a great defender, but IMO is overrated by some OSU fans. While hes great on defense and hustles, its not like what hes doing has never been done before or will ever be done again.

That being said, they really need a PG for the future, Scott is there next year and I suppose will be alright as a fill in. D'angelo Russell will make his job a lot easier because for a change theyll have a go to scorer(If he plays like he has in showcases and in HS games)
Are you a Buckeye fan? Just curious.

Michigan State if I were forced to pick a team,Izzo usually runs a great program. But for the most part I just follow the Big10 and watch the big games from other conferences

My second favorite team. Excellent coach, stellar program, and my pick to win it all.

I have them in my Championship game and winning in 1 or 2 of my brackets, but Im cautious to have them so far because I thought I was biased. But they did get the perfect draw, and the weakest #1 seed IMO

I can only imagine how bad he probably tore shit up in HS when I consider that I've seen small school kids in my area look all-world against similar competition and not even be good enough to hack it at Division III in college.
D5 and D3, he was ridiculous. Played against him my senior year, he had 20 in the first half and held our PG who was pretty good to 2 points and 0 assists. Best player I had seen from a small school since Diebler

Jon played D-II his entire career, at both Fostoria and Upper Sandusky, so he didn't play against small school competition. He played schools like Willard, Cincy St. Xavier, Greenfield McClain, Tiffin Columbian, Shelby and Toledo Whitmer almost on a nightly basis, all D-I and D-II teams.

Craft played against Arcadia, Vanlue, Pandora-Gilboa and Van Buren, all D-III and D-IV schools that 2006-07 Upper would've beaten by 80.

Those upper teams were so good with diebler. It was awesome watching him go off for 50,60+ especially since I used to play ball with him when we were kids. When I go back to fremont his older brother is sometimes playing at the local rec center. People forget how good Jeremiah was too. I believe he went to valpo

Jeremiah went to some D-II school in Kentucky, I believe. And he didn't go there until he was in his mid to late 20s IIRC.

I've said this before, but Jeremiah was the quickest of all three and the best pressure defender I've ever seen play high school basketball. I bet he averaged at least 8 to 10 steals a game. While at Gibsonburg in 1999 or 2000, I went and saw him play at Eastwood and he dropped 60. The next night he dropped 61 on Elmwood. He dominated the Suburban Lakes League. The opposing team would go almost an entire quarter sometimes without getting the ball across half-court. That Gibsonburg full court press was fucking crazy and Jeremiah was the leader of the pack.

Even though he played D-III and D-IV ball, he was better than Jake. He just didn't have the physical gifts of Jon. If he were 6-7, Jeremiah would've played college ball anywhere in the country.

No doubt. I still think he was a better overall player than jon was he just didn't have the height.

Still amazes me that he originally committed to play at Valpo. Don't know the inside story (did he want to play with his brother, did tOSU not offer?) but I'm glad he ended up at Ohio State

Agreed. Jeremiah would have played in the NBA for a long time if he had Jon's height.

It sort of reminds me of what Chucky Daly once said of Isiah Thomas: "If he were five inches taller, he could've been the greatest player of all time."

Jon hit the genetic lottery, but, as you say, he didn't have the game that his eldest brother did.

Out of LF but if he had a bit more speed I think he could be an amazing cornerback.

That was a good summary of Ohio State's offense this year. Airball from Scott, Amir grabs it and chucks it off the backboard, somehow missing the rim from 6 inches away.

I will be so glad to see Lenzelle go, much rather have ADV in there taking wide open 3 pointers.
