I will say, Nash never deserved either MVP. Should have been LBJ both times and I think LBJ is a scumbag POS.
Now that is out of the way, KD earned/deserved it this yr. Had a better season than any LBJ season I can think of w/o looking at LBJ stats.

Where he plays isn't really that big a deal. The East isn't exactly murderers row in terms of defense.(off that's what u were hinting at) The pacers and the bulls are the only two teams he'd of had to play that are that good defensively
I don't think his conference matters at all.
And I don't think james was mvp each of those years he ddidn't win n rose or somebody else did. Its not the Naismith award given to the best pplayer. IMO

The East is definitely much better than the East and it makes a huge difference. The pace is slower, it's more of a grind with lower possessions which means fewer scoring opportunities. KD took something like 330 more shots than Lebron this year which is a huge amount, give Lebron those shots and he averages more ppg because he is way more efficient than KD(or anyone else is). Slower style of play sure ...thattt much better defense? I def don't see it, just because you play slower doesn't mean you play better defense. Some of the teams in the east had low scoring games not bbc of defense but because the bottom half of the East is abysmal all around
And 4 shots a game was whst it boils down to. so 8 pts if he shoots 100% on those 4 shots. There's absolutely no way he'd of.averaged 35/GM in the west

The East is more of a grind and the West is more free flowing and with lesser defensive pressure. I feel like Rose won it because everyone was trying to hype him as the next superstar in the league, Lebron had the much better all around season including defensively. He'd have to shoot more than 4 more times a game tp do so. sure if he went Kobe Bryant when he had smush Parker and was a straight gun I'm sure he could score 35. I'm sure Durant could too. but.averaging the shots KD did I really doubt LBJ'S scorin 35 a game.
There's a few teams like I said who play good D. Chicago Miami Indiana. aside from that, there's no defensive beasts in the east. just slower pace and worse offensive players. Who else supposedly has such great defense?

Also I forgot to add that he would shoot a higher percentage against the West. He shot 57% and would probably shoot 60% if he played in the Western conference because of higher percentage looks and more fast break opportunities.
