I love watching him play but man he's the most selfish player I've probably ever seen lol He knows his role though.KB0938;1611247 wrote:Jamal Crawford won 6th man of the year again, well deserved.
May have the best handles/cross-over in the NBA currently, and is a hell of a shooter

If you watch him play you know what I'm talking about, dude is unbelievably selfish. Shoot first, second and third lol. But that's what his role is. As far as thinking players are selfish I just call it like I see it, not demeaning to them it's just part of their game. Who were the other candidates for the award?KB0938;1611250 wrote:Ever? lol idk about that, only attempts like 12/13 shots a game on his career

Crawford won.
He was supposed to receive the award yesterday. And well, bad timing I guess.

Taj Gibson had a great year, surprised he didn't get it, considering he plays both ends.

People love playing with Crawford. So, I dont think he is a selfish player by nature. I think that he provides such great offense off the bench that the coaches and team WANT him to take a lot of shots.
I dont think he is the kind of guy who would get pissed if his role changed and they needed him to be a penetrate and dish guy.

Hard to say because he's always been that player. He has a role and he plays it well though.Laley23;1611268 wrote:People love playing with Crawford. So, I dont think he is a selfish player by nature. Yeah, its impossible to say for sure.robj55;1611275 wrote:Hard to say because he's always been that player. He has a role and he plays it well though.
But others have had that label, and it has come across in their teammates. Not necessarily "he is a ball hog", but you can just tell.
Crawford, by all accounts, has always had teammates who love to play with him. And not just that he is a great clubhouse guy, that he is actually fun to be on the floor with.
Maybe I am reading inbetween the lines to much, maybe not. Who knows? lol

Yeah it seems like he's a likable guy, but I think it just comes down to doing your job. As long as you do your job and do it well, whether that's only to score or rebound or whatever people won't have a problem with it.Laley23;1611282 wrote:Yeah, its impossible to say for sure.

OKC one game from elimination and people slammed me for saying that OKC's window for a title was slowly closing. They almost remind of the Cavs of old when it was great regular season and then bounced from playoffs. OKC fits that mold because its a two man show for them and no one else is stepping on a consistent basis.
IMO, Westbrook has to go and get everything you can for him. He is a great athlete but he is just so out of control and takes dumbass shots or turns it over at the worst possible times. The other players are just watching most of the time hoping that Durant or Westbrook will them to a win.
The craziest thing about this years playoffs is Indiana, SA and OKC might be going home after the first round.

@ramonashelburne: Mike D'Antoni has resigned as Lakers coach, source tells ESPN
Just days after being reassured by management that he would be brought back.

I am. But unlike most fans, I don't put the blame on him. He couldn't have done any better given the situation.
I am very interested in who they are targeting. Maybe Steve Kerr? Maybe Byron Scott. My choice would be to go and get Doc to move across the hall.

I don't know. I think Jeff would be a good fit, but I'm not sure Kobe would want Stan. And I think, even though they have said otherwise, Kobe's opinion HAS to matter.

Yeah he is going to have major say you would think, but you have to go with someone established and a winner right? Byron Scott has a losing record as a head coach in this league, but he is a Laker.wildcats20;1611423 wrote:I don't know. I think Jeff would be a good fit, but I'm not sure Kobe would want Stan. Would you rather have an established winner who is respected or someone with less of a resume and reputation?wildcats20;1611428 wrote:Also another name....

I think the respect factor Ollie is through the roof. Mainly because of how well liked of a player he was. But he showed what he could do on the court with UConn.
It would be a little bit of a risk, I admit, but I would not be upset at all.

Watch Calipari still end up there somehow.
