Talk about a fail. Hard to look at.

Gortat is really good, really underrated, great in the pick and roll.Commander of Awesome;1523958 wrote:Marcin Gortat traded to Wizards. Gortat ranked 5th in NBA last season in points per play allowed on post-up plays (min. 100 plays).
Suns have FOUR first round picks next year...in most talented draft in recent history. Wow.

Great draft.
He looked out of shape and sloppy the few times I saw him play this preseason, not surprise here.wildcats20;1523978 wrote:Annnnnnnndd......they release him today LOL

Does this solidify Washington edging into the playoffs?Commander of Awesome;1523958 wrote:Marcin Gortat traded to Wizards. Gortat ranked 5th in NBA last season in points per play allowed on post-up plays (min. 100 plays).
The Washington Wizards will acquire Marcin Gortat in a deal with the Phoenix Suns for Emeka Okafor.
The proposed deal will include Shannon Brown and Kendall Marshall to the Wizards, while the Suns will also acquire and a top-12 protected 2014 first round pick along with Okafor.
Okafor is currently out indefinitely with a neck injury.

I already had them in but I would think so. Says a lot about what they think about Vecsely though.Ironman92;1524010 wrote:Does this solidify Washington edging into the playoffs?

Incentive laden isn't it? Based on him staying healthy, thought I read that somewhere.robj55;1524006 wrote:GS gives Bogut a 3 year, 43 million dollar extension, wow. He is really good and an important piece when healthy but that's nearly 15 million a year.
Didn't pick up his player-option on his rookie contract. Not good for him.robj55;1524013 wrote:I already had them in but I would think so. Says a lot about what they think about Vecsely though.
I like him because he is a pure pg and those are a rare breed today but he's just not good enough to stay at this level.wildcats20;1524806 wrote:I love Kendal Marshall, but he doesn't have an NBA game at all. I wish he would have stuck around Chapel Hill one more year.
I had them in barely as well but his overall game and experience makes it a far safer bet IMO.robj55;1524013 wrote:I already had them in but I would think so. Says a lot about what they think about Vecsely though.
Yeah you might be right, looking forward to finding out who's right. Going to be a great season. I'm really looking forward to the NYK implosion, and seeing how some of the young WC teams stack up. Seeing how QQ Howard fits in with Houston be really interesting.robj55;1525095 wrote:Dwill got off to a slow start but averaged 23 and 10 and shot over 40% from three the second half of the season. 45% and 37 from three from a pg is great. Joe had bit of a down year at 42% but he should get better looks this year and be around 45% which is great. Terry did have a down year last year but he is big time clutch, makes big shots and shouldn't be counted on a ton so whatever he contributes will be a plus. I think you are way too high on the West and GS in particular, I love watching them play but they are strictly a jump shooting team and you're not going to be elite or win titles like that. No way do they beat Chicago in a 7 game series, the Bulls are too good defensively and DRose would eat up Steph. Not sure how you can say it wouldn't be close, not how I picture it at all. To be honest I'd love to see GS make a deep run because they are awesome to watch.
