I took Dekker off my list pretty early. I just don't have much confidence in him.

It could go either way. I envisioned Dekker either improving his numbers only slightly, due to the molasses offense that Bo Ryan employs, and finishing with a line of like 13 and 4 (which wouldn't be worth the pick). Or Dekker becoming the stud his skills says he can, and going for Alando Tucker-like numbers, at 19 and 5 or something. Personally, I think it will be closer to the latter, but we'll see.

I was going to quote the pick saying best recruit ever to play there. I had him on my list, but he does play for Wisconsin. It was my only hesitation.

I think almost all of us can at least agree now that we hope Dekker doesn't realize his potential.

Haha. As many here know, though, I love Wisconsin and Bo Ryan, so I will inevitably end up cheering the kid on. There is nothing prettier in basketball than a big man who can shoot from deep. Which is why I've always been drawn to the Badgers' style.

And I finally think I figured out who Az is talking about. Not a player I'd take for reasons of my own, but it could be a good pick.

Looking at my team, I'm surprisingly feeling pretty good about my chances. Of course that now means I'll finish dead last.

I feel somewhat the same. I'm kicking myself for taking Bryce Cotton and not knowing about Chaz Williams, but that was back when I was doing 0 research before my pick so it's to be expected, haha. Overall though if all of my guys at least stay the same and I have 4 or 5 take a couple point jump I think I'll have a shot.

waiting on CC again lol.

Also, I like the Henderson pick birddog. with the suspension I just didnt want to take him. Im sure he wont be out long though since it is the SEC and his coach has already stated he is doing what he needs to do to get back

You didn't see it came out the other day that he is only suspended for 3 games. The first game of the year against Troy and then the First 2 SEC games in January.

Henderson will have multiple 30-point scoring nights, easily. And then tack on whatever other stats he accumulates. Say 3 rebounds here, two assists there, a steal or two. It could add up quick. It's a good gamble. Ole Miss will also be nowhere near as good as they were last year, so it will be Marshall's show. He might challenge Tyler Haws and Doug McDermott for the national scoring crown. I'd throw Anthony Ireland in there also.

I'm not sure the officially announcement came until yesterday in the middle of the round. At least that's when ESPN reported it.

Yeah, I didn't see it either. Marshall Henderson in Round 10 is the biggest steal of the entire draft. Had it not been for the off-the-court issues, Henderson likely would've been taken in the first two or three rounds.

Yeah I saw earlier in the day yesterday got super busy at work and forgot about it when I went to make my pick... then was looking at other guys and saw the article again and went FUCK! I was just hoping one of you 3 didn't take him... when you and pick 6 first passed I was like sweet I might have a chance that no one had heard about it yet but nope :(.

I bet Azu is kinda wishing he would have just kept him when he picked Henderson a few rounds ago lol.

And even if we knew his suspension at the start I bet he is taken in round 1, round 2 at the latest.

Honestly? I would've taken him about where I did, but I also think he's a guy who isn't going to give you much with steals, rebounds or assists. Probably around 30 PPG (our league), which was where I had him when I posted the pick before.

Now, the last like 21 games last year he averaged nearly 23 PPG. If he keeps that up, it's for sure a steal in RD 11, but I don't think he was a top 5 round guy.

Probably a round 4-7 guy, depending on your preference, but I'll gladly take him where I got him. And I do agree with your assessment on him too.
