How STUPID can Walmart be for allowing these people for a solid 2 hours to use EBT benefit cards (while the EBT system was "down" and the amounts on their cards unverifiable). These people loaded up their carts like they just hit the lottery.

Those people who have EBT cards are extremely busy, and to make them have to try and find time to come back in and shop then you probably would lose more money then a few of them overflowing their carts and not having enough funds to cover it.

EBT system goes down and the stampede of Entitlement takers, taking what they haven’t earned, destroying what isn’t theirs and abusing what is intended to help all the poor and needy families and individuals.
Here is a government run program in failure mode, some some can be said for Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and with the biggest potential fraud/failure and disarray program of all Obamacare.

What you see is what the future holds ….

There better be a follow up story on this within the coming days telling the public that Walmart is indeed pressing charges of theft on these "crooks". Also, there better be a follow up story stating that whatever "overage" these crooks got away with with be DEDUCTED from their next EBT card(s) until the balance is made up in full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see how this is wal-mart's fault....unless the cards had a daily limit they had to honor them. How would they know which were legit or not? As for the people using them past the limit what will (or should) happen is that future payments to their card will be netted out. Watch them gripe then.
