It really feels like it's going to be Blackhawks-Bruins again. They are clearly the best teams left in each conference.

I don't think chicago is clearly the best team in the west. Wouldn't be shocked to see LA or Anaheim beat them.

My coworker was all doom and gloom after game 4. I told him don't be so sure NY is done.

Same here man. It happens every year in some sort of fashion.

2010: Just stopped playing against Montreal
2011: Up 3-1 against Tampa and the offense and Fleury collapsed
2012: Massive gong show against Philly when massive changes should've been made but weren't
2013: Collapse against Boston
2014: Lost faith in everything, sans a few players, they don't even try

I agree with this as a Blackhawks fan. However, they have been untouchable at home.

Boston vs Montreal is different than Boston vs the field. Always has been, always will be. If Boston doesn't come out of the east it's definitely going to be a west team with the cup. Boston looked like garbage last night.

Bylsma is gone and he knows it. Fleury was not the reason they collapsed. The entire team did outside of Malkin. I've already got the team I want in my head.

Kunitz-Crosby-Kane
Kulemin-Malkin-Neal
Bennett-Sutter-Stempniak
Sill-Vitale-Gibbons

Martin-Niskanen
Maatta-Bortuzzo
Despres-Pouliot

Fleury
Zatkoff

Letang for Evander Kane

Crosby is just as much to blame as anyone else for that collapse. Not an elite player in my opinion. He disappears in the big games these past few years.

Then you don't know what an elite player is.

He may have peaked though. I don't know what it is really, but the same can be said for the entire team. That's on coaching. Shero might be in trouble also.

Attitude. I don't think he peaked, but he has a shitty attitude when things don't go his way or when guys gang up on him.

Can't even say I was mildly surprised by last night. Or disappointed, even, because when you pretty much 90% were expecting a loss and it happens, what can you feel? A bit hollow, maybe, but not surprised or disappointed.
