Easy to criticize when it doesn't work. If we picked it up it could have been that shot in the arm that we needed in the first half.

I agree with this. We had 3 at that time, no reason not to burn one to keep Northwestern from chewing up 30+ seconds.

I'm not really concerned about this. There was no camera shot which would have changed anything.

If you take Miller out and Guiton doesn't play well, you can't put Miller back in as his confidence would be shot. I like that he had Guiton warm up, but I agree that he should have had one more chance, which he got and moved the team to score.

I do agree that I'm not a fan of the job our current defensive coaches have been doing. They have had trouble with injuries and lack of depth at different positions. But overall this isn't the defense that we're used to at Ohio State.
But part of the damage last night was self inflicted with short fields because of turnovers (or the failed 4th down conversion).
