Why would you bring up the topic of moving in with her?

The correct topic is her moving in with you.

I don't know if I'd be pissed or not.

It'll be a long time before I ask a woman to move in with me. I like having my alone space. When I do get a g/f on campus she will NOT stay @ my place every night. That shit just ain't happenin

Wait til it happens there chief. If she wants to stay there, she'll drive you crazy when she doesn't. I know from experience. It sucks.

I would HATE that. Even though I am married-there are times I need my space.

This is why everyone should marry a fireman. Every third day and it's like a vacation at my house.

Got ya.

Her boyfriend is kind of.......... um not sure what word does not sound too offensive? Weak?

For me it just sounds weak to ask a GF if you can move in with her, let her ask or ask if she wants to move in with you.

Eh.. The conversation wasn't like him saying 'can I move in with you' more along the lines of maybe we should think about just moving in together... But I love my house, and no way in hell am I moving out of it. So yeah, when u boil it down.. It would be him moving in with me.

If you are not ready to have someone move in with you, say so.

If he doesn't like it & breaks it off, I think you're further ahead.

And then you marry her and realize how horrible it is living with her..so you divorce in a year..yeah..good call.
You do realize that the divorce rate among people who don't live together before marriage is MUCH lower than the ones who do live together right?

Most men are usually so desperate? LMAO!!!!!!!! Yes, men are always the ones that are in a rush to get in a relationship and move in together and get married and have children, etc., etc.

Men are always complaining about how their woman is not committing or not ready to take the next step or are dragging their feet. HAHAHAHAHAHA
iluvz wrote: Officially dating not quite a year. Known each other longer. His daughter basically has taken over my spare bed room as hers. He hasn't left my house in like a month. And I'm ok with that. I guess its just the control part of me... I like knowing there's the option of him NOT being there if I don't want him too be. Plus I'm neurotic about my space, and things being exactly as they should, and where they should. And if he moves in I'd possibly have to compromise on that. That's awful of me right?
Awful of you? No. Selfish of you? YEs, but you're a woman so it's expected! ;)

It's not all that awkward between Darbypitcher and Zwick. :D

That's interesting. I'd like to see that stat for verification, not that I'm doubting you, I just thought it would be the other way around.

dwccrew, that was kinda like the 'make me a sammich, biotch' comments I get. :)

So the only comeback I want from you is to come back with a sammich. For me. And I'll take a beer while you're there.

So just take yourself back into the kitchen and make me a sammich.
Nah, I hit it and quit it. No need for sammich's for either party. :)
