Mother of god. I wish Pumking wasn't so expensive, and they sold six packs. Shit is unreal.

Drink 2 pumking ~$16 or a case of keystone ~$13+your dignity. Pumking is worth the extra $3 for a night ETB.

Didn't make it over to get the Shipyard Pumpkinhead but found New Belgium Pumpkick Ale. I really liked this one, it has the typical pumpkin ale ingredients but they also threw in cranberries. Definitely worth a try.

Try Rivertown Pumpkin Ale. Last year's batch was outstanding!
Actually last years batch was a bit heavy on the cinnamon. Which I guess is good if you like that. This years is more balanced which I like better
Pumpkin ales are pretty tricky to make...a little to much cinnamon or nutmeg or other spices and it just doesn't work. I've tried to make some myself, and after several tries, gave up.

The best I ever tasted was Crooked River's ....I don't know if they are still around.

Got some Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.

hmm....not exactly the same taste I remember. Still good tho'.

Upon further inspection I notice a "Bottled on 2013Q 1104" on the neck.

Maybe April/11/13? Maybe the reason it was on display towards the front of the store is because it's a few months old?

Friggin' BX at wright-patt I think has screwed me twice now.

Finally got my hands on some Rivertown Pumpkin Ale. Phenomenal. Pumpkin pie taste is amazing. I have an ST Warlock in the fridge. I think I'm gonna save it for next weekend.

Damn. I just turned down Rivertown Pumpkin Ale in lieu of Shipyard Pumpkinhead. I haven't had either, so I figured I'd try this one. Hopefully, it's solid, or I'll be kicking myself.

Didn't find either tonight, so went with the never disappointing Pumking.

Not a Pumking fan. I think it has too much of an artificial flavoring to it, to make it seem sweet and spiced. Then again, I generally don't like pumpkin beers. The only one I've found that made me want to come back is Ichabod from New Holland.
