What are your favorites and where can they be found?

I'm going to try Southern Tier Pumking first.

Was specifically looking for Pumpkin stuff. That's like 100 pages of all things beer. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Try Rivertown Pumpkin Ale. Last year's batch was outstanding!

Well I ain't got no time to post the same stuff here. You could check the last few pages of the thread since most of the Pumpkin beers came out in August and many of us have been commenting on them for the past month.

Actually last years batch was a bit heavy on the cinnamon. Which I guess is good if you like that. This years is more balanced which I like better.

Saw a local craft beer shop got Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale in yesterday. Probably going to go pick up some this weekend. I'm a big fan of all things Shipyard.

Check the last few pages of Beer snob thread. A lot of discussion there. The best I've had ST Pumking, DF Punkin, HF Double Pumpkin, Rivertown Pumpkin Ale. There are a lot more out there some are decent, some suck mega balls. Just try them all!

Good luck with that. I guess if you like all things Shipyard, then you will like it. I've passed on it since a friend of mine tried it and was not impressed. He said he wouldn't buy it again. That's enough for me not to try it.

I'm assuming Southern Tier made more Pumking this year than they usually do since all of my stores (including Giant Eagle) have a metric fuckload of it.

Meh, I'll pass on the pumpkin' ales. But I don't like pumpkin pie either. Any good zucchini beers out there?

I honestly didn't know Flying Dog did a pumpkin ale. They're a staple of my beer selections, so I'll have to look for this.

Sure seems like it. It owns an end cap at our Giant Eagle here.

To the OP, you're on the right track getting Pumking. In my own opinion, it is the plum line for all things pumpkin ale.
