I think they are around 5th SOS right now. No way they don't get in if they go undefeated unless those three teams just tank the season.
OSU would have wins over @ Northwestern (not a traditional power, but good this year by many accounts), @ Michigan and home v. Wisconsin. Pretty comparable as far as each having three ranked teams.
But then again, both teams have plenty of bad teams on the schedule.
Clemson just got done with the mighty South Carolina St., and they still have games against the likes of Citadel, Wake Forest, Boston College, etc. And OSU has already played a couple of their "bad" games in San Diego St. and Buffalo, but still have Florida A&M, Cal, Indiana (although some believe Indiana won't be terrible this year, I'll believe that once they find a defense).
Anyways, it's awfully early to predict who will have a tougher schedule to say one team's is by far and away tougher than another when on paper they are similar (3 ranked teams) with some mediocre teams and some bad teams.
Tiernan has it right though (not often said), bu the Buckeyes can't afford to lose a game and going undefeated is a long way off.
