Not that anyone cares but we need a strong showing this series. This series is pretty much a make it break it for this team. Still only sitting 3 and 1/2 out of the wild card. Nothing else needs said, just win some damn games

Yeah...just pile up the wins and see where the chips fall.

Losing 5 of 6 to the Braves and Kitties(coupled with the earlier sweep by the Tigers) shows that this team is not capable of playing the big guys, even if we are fortunate enough to squeeze out a playoff spot.

No matter. Always a Tribe fan...and I'm gonna pay attention and root for them till the end.

I feel like this team just wins enough to keep us interested. I am to the point where I watch a few innings and then just check scores occasionally. They are posers for sure

katie_Witham: #Indians Lineup 9/2:
CF Bourn, 1B Swisher, 2B Kipnis, C Santana, LF Brantley, SS Cabrera, DH Giambi, 3B Chisenhall, RF Stubbs, RHP Masterson

I hate aviles being out of the lineup, and Giambi being DH. Regardless of matchups against pitcher, I'd prefer Gones at C, and Santana at DH. Also would rather have Aviles at short or 3rd.

Hey Swish, you have a better chance of hitting the ball if you actually swing the bat

This season is turning to shit rapidly... still waiting to hear what happened to Masterson. The parade of AAA pitchers is not gonna help.

Just as I say that, Hagadone has an easy 1-2-3 inning. Those guys are gonna have to hold the Birds... Down 3-0, Tribe coming to bat in the 3rd.

That didn't last after Hagadone gave up the bomb. Glad to see he is back to his old form.

Sounds like rib problems for Masterson.

STFU with that garbage. Dude is injured. And despite a lot of us not thinking he was legit, he has been a badass this year.

Top 5 in wins, Ks and batting average against. He's had a very good year, near great.

Masty is one of the few that has indeed had a good year, I agree.

I also agree he had a good year-I never said he didn't. However, I did say more than once that if was considered our ace, we were in for a long season. Was I wrong?

For the record, I didn't say anything about what you did or didn't post.

The only reason a fan might have a long year with this team is if they had unrealistic expectations not if Masterson was the ace or not.. This has been an entertaining year with this team. Any games above .500 is better than I expected.

Lol, yes. Way off. To say this has been a long year is straight retard mode. We are fucking 7 games over .500. Long year would be the White Sox. I seriously have no clue what your talking about.

As for the injury...ummm, what??? How was he pitching like shit? He gave up 0 runs while in the game for his 1+ inning pitched and wanted to stay in the game. Blaming it would be giving up 7ER in 4 innings and growing it 94MPH ten going on the DL tomorrow.

Finally, and for the 5th time I haven't been a Camerman in about 2 years. And the season is in no way over...though it is sliding that way.

"Spare" ribs.......at least he wasn't in St Louis.

That's pretty harsh. ....They had to take the ball away from him. I have nothing but respect for Masterson.

25 games left after losing 6 of the last 7. Going to need 18 of them to get to 90 wins.

???

Oakland and Texas are playing each other. Tampa is losing. Yankees won.

Baltimore played us.

So, 1 of the teams who could have lost won...

Only 4 games out of the wild card.

Still very doable when you consider how many scrub teams (who we own) we face in September.

Way to early to be hitting the panic switch.

With Tito, a sure ticket to sitting on the bench is pounding a game winning home run. Just ask Ryan Raburn.

Sometimes I think Tito makes up the line up just to please the parents.
