I think they're funny. I tried watching the Brit version and it seemed so serious and boring. Maybe I caught a bad episode?

They are anything BUT serious.

The best episodes are when they have the challenges. I loved the one that they had to build a car that also could cross water. Jeremy (I think it was Jeremy) getting stranded on a sinking car in the middle of the river was gold.
