I also just read the Indians put in a claim for Kendrys Morales.
You should actually be rooting for Detroit in that series as a wild card is much more likely than getting in as division champ at this point.

So Disappointed! Living in North Carolina now, last night was only the third Tribe game I have gotten to watch all year. The first one was the 7-4 lost to Yankees on Jun 3rd that was on ESPN, second was 7-6 loss to Washington on Saturday of Father's Day weekend when I was back in OH, and this one because Atlanta games are all on FOX Sports South. I was even thinking about making the 3.5 hr road trip to Atlanta and watch the game live on Thursday, but after last night's performance, I do not think it is worth it. I probably should not watch the next 2 games on TV either since they are 0-3 when I watch this season!!!

Stupid post.

Have you forgotten about the tigers? Have you seen that lineup...wow

Might be worth it just to see their park. But yeah, things aren't looking good this series

Should've said record wise. Detroit is just having fun with everyone. The season wouldn't be exciting if they went 162-0, and they know that. Clearly Atlanta is 3rd best behind dodgers and Tigers at 2 and 1 respectively

Fair enough although I would say 4th best.

1 tigers
2 mudhens
3 Dodgers
4 braves

I like our chances tonight if we can at least score a few runs. I know that's asking a lot from this offense right now though.

I am not shooting a for a play in wildcard spot. That isn't making the playoffs to me. They need to win the division.

And if anything, we would be hoping for Oakland to win and Tampa Bay to lose, we have a much better record against Oakland than Tampa this year.

Well, 2 base runners already in the first inning. Lets watch Cabrera pop up to the infield.

Masterson picks a terrible team to suck against. Atlanta will hammer bad pitching. This ain't the Twins, no pitching around bad stuff.

Masterson throwing as many strikes as balls comes back to haunt him after walking the pitcher with 2 outs and 2 on.

Yep, did it last start too. Difference in Atlanta and Los Angeles is one makes you pay and the other doesnt. Records dont lie...

tribe doesn't beat elite teams. They will go 0-9 in this crucial stretch and then propel to win 10 next 11 against garbage teams for sure.

They need more air time of Chipper Jones, and by that, I mean his wife and the girl sitting next to her.

Fucking Tigers are losing again. 7-1 now to the As. Its gonna come down to Tampa, Tribe and Baltimore for the last WC spot I think.

Now Santana, who is swingign a really good bad, chases a 1-0 pitch and pops it up. Guys are WAY to anxious with men on base right now.

Hopefully Asdrubal picks him up and continues to swing a good stick.
