I will be impressed if the album is even a fraction of the quality that The Slim Shady LP/The Marshall Mathers LP were.

He hasn't put out a quality CD in over ten years.

yeah,, his ship has sailed. Those who loved him years ago are all grown up and now realize how awful the music really is.

Recovery was pretty good, sent a great message to people dealing with addiction.

I actually agree with this, though I think he's been trash since day 1 IMO. Never cared his music.

I never was a big fan of his either but my comment was more along the lines of those who loved his music when they were 18-24 probably have changed their musical interest a little bit by the age of 28-34 plus. I used to be big into some hip hop, Dre, Snoop, NWA, Tupac, etc until my late 20's and then that kind of music just went by the wayside for me. Still enjoyed some old school when it comes on but wouldn't have purchased any of their new stuff.

Your signature makes me think you liken yourself to Michael Scott.

"I mean it was DECEMBER MAN!!" -your friends who have probably heard that terrible story about 50 times.

I liked recovery a lot. I loved Eminem and most rap back in the early 2000's but I now hate most new rap coming out and listen to mainly alt rock. That said when Eminem or Dre releases a CD I will for sure give it a listen.

No pretty sure you are wrong on this one... o wait you're normally always wrong so this is nothing new.

Pretty excited for this. Can't be any worse than anything else out right now.

Can't say I'm a fan of this one. It sounds like he's trying to be a Beastie Boy.

I tend to AGREE with this more than I tend to DISAGREE with it. What I mean is... when Em's first few songs came out, it was the rage and I couldn't get enough. Now... 10 years later (or however long)... I listen to those very same songs and I can't help but think, "WTF?!" A lot of it is him making immature noises.

Don't get me wrong... he still has SOME stuff (like "Guilty Conscious" and "Forgot About Dre") that are legendary.
