Never heard of someone lose their license because of driving without insurance. Just like what others are saying, your friend better consult a traffic lawyer or ask the original owner if he still has insurance coverage attached to the car. Hope he gets saved from all this mess.

Shouldn't he had insurance when he was driving for that box delivery company?I would think that the company would make sure their employees have insurance.

That's the fine for not having proof of insurance, but having an active insurance policy(I've been through that). He got his insurance to backdate to the date he bought the car or used his work liability I assume?
