I am not so sure why I watch and kind of enjoy it. Maybe because it isn't full of smut, bleeping out of what they say, and generally strong family values. I don't particularly like the old woman though.

Agreed. My Sig Other got me watching this and at first I was like This is Crap. Then for some reason they grow on you and you begin to recognize all the trials and tribulations of your family and workplace. Except Willie is reported to be worth $30M so he aint seeing much in the way of tribulations.

I think I have tried to watch an episode of both and I didn't finish either of them. Terrible TV.

BTW, how do you turn off these new quoting notifications and emails? I'm annoyed by it already.

The scripts are so stupid it's painful to watch.

Family loves the show. It's the best "reality tv show" out there w/out all the BS cussing and nonsense. My kids love it.

Seems all the new shows are this way. I think DD is watchable because the characters are actually funny.

It also seems "redneck" is the new theme for reality shows. Out with Alaska, in with redneck.

I just turned notifications off for quoting. The version of the mod I installed (the free version) doesn't allow for individual notification management. It's $80 for the pro version that allows for that.

My viewing tastes are three-fold: sports, Monty Python and movies (preferably in the B horror/sci-fi/fantasy, but occasionally I break out of that "comfort zone"). This does not fit into any of these categories.

Which I guess explains why I so rarely post in threads about various TV shows. Too many things I want to do with my time and only so many hours in the day, so stuff like that falls by the wayside.
