No doubt that certain personalities intentionally troll fan bases (intentionally being controversial to drum up attention). I just think it gets really old and can't wait until ESPN has some legitimate competition as far as sports news broadcasting. But that's coming along slowly...

I'm pretty sure the majority of BCS schools would love to have suffered through the "futility" that OSU did in the BCS era.

They could replace OSU with Oklahoma or FSU and the sentence would be more accurate. Either way, it is ESPN so it is no big deal.
